The East Sussex Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise Alliance ‘Our journey – evolving together’
The East Sussex Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Alliance are delighted to share ‘Our journey – evolving together’; a reflection on the work that took place throughout 2025.
This document is the third annual review produced by the East Sussex VCSE Alliance and demonstrates the work undertaken throughout 2025. It provides information about who the Alliance are, its purpose, vision and mission as well as providing an update on the work taking place to contribute to it’s three principles of collaboration, accountability and generous leadership.
The Alliance’s journey has taken place in a time of extraordinary upheaval and financial challenge. Alliance membership has continued to grow and collaboration, strong relationships and lines of communication have been forged with statutory partners across the East Sussex system, enabling the voluntary sector voice to have real influence.
This review is an informative read, recognising the tremendous amount of work that has taken place across the Alliance by its members and partners. This document gives a flavour of what Alliance members have achieved this year, following the refresh of their priorities; financial inclusion, representation, relationships and influencing and sector resilience – it also looks ahead at what the Alliance plans to achieve next.
