East Sussex VCSE Alliance response to the consultation on Adult Social Care and Health savings proposals

The East Sussex VCSE Alliance has provided a joint response to the consultations carried out by East Sussex County Council (ESCC) on the funding gap the council is facing.
We thank ESCC for the information they have provided about their financial position and the open dialogue they have maintained with the third sector throughout the consultation process.
Whilst acknowledging the financial challenges ahead, we have significant concerns about the impact of the proposed savings on local people and are requesting further clarity regarding future support available.
