Wealden Volunteering – Matching volunteers with the perfect opportunities

We are pleased to join the East Sussex VCSE Alliance community and would like to take this opportunity to introduce Wealden Volunteering.
Based in Uckfield, our organisation is dedicated to connecting individuals with meaningful volunteering opportunities across the Wealden district. We support people who are looking to contribute their time and skills, while also working closely with charities and community groups in need of volunteer support.
Our aim is twofold: to empower individuals through volunteering and to strengthen the capacity of local organisations by helping them find the right people for the right roles.
From event support and administrative tasks to digital communications and community outreach, our volunteers are making a tangible difference across the region.
We are excited to collaborate with fellow VCSE members, share best practices, and contribute to the continued growth and resilience of the voluntary sector in East Sussex.

Volunteers are the backbone of the voluntary sector – the support Wealden Volunteering provides to the quiet army of volunteers working tirelessly to support local charities and organisations is impressive.
Their membership provides the perfect opportunity to promote and embed volunteering and volunteering best practice across our member organisations. It will also help expand volunteering opportunities across our networks and increase capacity within community groups working in East Sussex.
