Working pattern: 17.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE) – to be agreed with successful candidate
Salary: £25,119 – £26,421 pro rata – plus 6% employers pension contribution
Annual Leave: 28 days per year plus Bank Holidays pro rata
Contract duration: 12 months fixed contract
Location: Hybrid working – at home, the ESCV office in Eastbourne, with regular travel across East Sussex to Alliance member meetings and offices.
The East Sussex VCSE Alliance is a group of 21 VCSE organisations working together to improve services and outcomes for local people and to demonstrate the value, expertise and insight of the VCSE sector to our statutory partners.
East Sussex Community Voice (ESCV) hosts the Alliance – on its behalf ESCV are recruiting an Administrative and Project Support Officer; this role will provide administrative and project support to the Alliance central team, (Alliance Chair, Vice Chair, Host and Development Officer) and wider membership, to enable the Alliance to deliver on its key priorities and work plans.
We are seeking an organised individual with excellent administrative and project support skills, with an eye for detail and a ‘can do’ attitude. You will enjoy interacting with a wide number of people in multiple organisations, in both the public and VCSE sector. As such, the workload will be varied, responsive and reflective of a changing environment.
This role will build on the Alliance’s growing reputation of speaking as one voice to influence and promote the importance of the VCSE sector and to increase our influence and trust amongst our partners.
The postholder will work with the Alliance Development Officer to support Alliance members deliver on their agreed strategic priorities for the benefit of the people, communities and wider voluntary sector of East Sussex.
